2G scam: No evidence against Anil set up Swan Telecom, CBI tells Court

The CBI, which had said that it was still probing the role of RADAG Chairman Anil Ambani in the 2G scam, has said it has no evidence of his direct involvement in the structuring of different companies and transfer of funds relating to Swan Telecom, a company which got a spectrum licence under circumstances that are now being investigated by the CBI.
"The investigation did not reveal any evidence either oral or documentary to inculpate Anil Ambani in the structuring of different companies and transfer of funds,"the agency said in its status report submitted to the Supreme Court on September 29.
The CBI was filing its response to a note submitted by petitioner Prashant for more details....

Biden's brother receives suspicious package from India

US Vice President Joe Biden's younger brother has received a suspicious package in his mail from India, containing a powdery substance, which the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has ruled as anthrax.
Neither the law enforcement authorities nor Biden's brother Francis Biden would say where in India this package was mailed from.
The package was addressed to Francis, who was taken to hospital after the suspicions white power from the package spilled onto his hand once he opened the package.
Biden immediately called the police, who evacuated the neighborhood.
Biden, 57, and his girlfriend Mindy, who had collected the package, were for more details....

Fewer Potentially Dangerous Asteroids Surrounded The Earth

The Earth is surrounded by nearly 50 per cent fewer potentially dangerous asteroids than thought previously, a new NASA study has found.
According to the US space agency, a space telescope that meticulously mapped the entire sky has found that about 19,500 medium-size, potentially dangerous asteroids are orbiting near the Earth.
The discovery significantly lowers their number by 50 per cent, as their number was initially estimated at 35,000, LiveScience reported.
