Amar Singh's bail plea hearing today
The director of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Wednesday submitted former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh's medical report to a Delhi court hearing the cash-for-votes scam. The court which was to pronounce its order on his interim bail plea on Tuesday will now do so onThursday.
The sealed report was submitted before special judge Sangita Dhingra Sehgal on Wednesday.
The Rajya Sabha member, who was admitted to AIIMS on Monday and has been under observation for a kidney complaint, was arrested on Sept 6 for his alleged involvement in an attempt to bribe MPs ahead of the July 2008 Parliament trust vote.
