Facebook Comments A Big 'No' in Nitish Kumar's Democracy
It seems that Freedom of speech is stifled in the democracy of Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar. Facebook comments are not allowed. Though not written anywhere in the lawbook, but two government employees were suspended allegedly for their Facebook comments.
Musafir Baitha and Arun Narayan work in Bihar Legislative Council as assistants for Council’s Hindi publication. Both are award winning writers including several government awards.
Both the employees were served with a suspension letter for using allegedly unconstitutional language on their Facebook wall. The suspension letter preceded no show cause for more details....
