US took its relationship with Pak to the tipping point
A day after the United States took its relationship with Pakistan to the tipping point, accusing the Pakistani army and ISI of helping the Haqqani operatives in the September 15 attack on the US embassy in Kabul -- Pakistan has chosen to dig in its heels and has hit back.
Pakistan lashed out at the US for accusing the country's most powerful intelligence agency of supporting extremist attacks against American troops in Afghanistan— the most serious allegations against Islamabad since the beginning of the Afghan war.
In a stronghly worded rebuttal, Pak Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has hit back at US claiming they want to stay in equality with America.
Gilani responded to the US criticism by saying Washington was in a tough spot."They can't live with us. They can't live without us,"Gilani told media Friday in the southern city of Karachi.
"So, I would say to them that if they can't live without us, they should for more details....
