Dengue claims 180 lives in Pakistan's Punjab

A dengue outbreak has claimed 180 lives in Pakistan's most populous province of Punjab and affected over 400 medical staff, including 50 doctors, officials said today.
Four deaths caused by the virus were reported in Mayo Hospital of Lahore today, officials said.
Nine persons died of dengue fever in hospitals across the city yesterday.
Since the outbreak began over a month ago, a Chinese national, a lawmaker and government officials have been among the victims of the virus.
