Dream Project: Maya to inaugurate 700-crore Noida Dalit Prerna Sthal today
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati will inaugurate the 33-acre Dalit Prerna Sthal or the Ambedkar Park in Noida today. The BSP supremo spent a staggering Rs 700 crores to put up the park.
The park, which has cost Rs 700 crores to the state’s exchequer, is meant to honour Dalit icons and has over two dozen huge statues of Mayawati, her mentor Kanshi Ram and Dr BR Ambedkar among others.
Preparations are on for the grand ceremony that takes place on Friday evening. Mayawati will arrive by a helicopter. The BSP leader is due to address a gathering of around 40,000 party workers who are expected to gather for the inauguration. As per reports, the Chief Minister for more details....
