Men 'underestimate waist size'
Men are men. They fool themselves into thinking they are two inches slimmer than they actually are, a survey has revealed.
, The average man was 35.8 inches, 2.1 inches slimmer than the English average of 37.9 inches and 2.2 inches smaller than the Scottish average of 38 inches, according to the poll which questioned 1,000 British men to guess their waist size.
Researchers found 87 per cent of men did not know how to measure their waists. Around half wrongly said it was measuring just above their hips, while just 13 per cent for more details....
