When you enter Kashmir as an outsider, the initial feeling that comes up is that of‘fear’. Yes, when you see army everywhere there is an initial shock. With it is a whiff of youth, vibrancy, vitality and unceasing hope in the air.
As one moves across the city one can see all kinds of businesses set-up which had not seen the valley for so many years. Looking at all this militancy seems to be a matter of past now.
