Arvind Gupta: An Engineer with a Difference
Science thrives on imagination. Most of the wonderful inventions and discoveries would never have come about if dreamers like Newton, Edison, and others hadn’t imagined it first. Things take shape when we wonder.…‘What if’?
This was probably in Arvind Gupta’s mind, an IIT Kanpur electric engineering alumnus, who quit his job at Telco. At that time it was his mother who supported him for this, citing it as a noble cause.
It has been 30 years now, Arvind Gupta’s love for science and learning has led him to impart knowledge to the children of India. He’s the dream teacher whom everybody yearns for. Gupta has travelled to over 3000 schools, demonstrating captivating science experiments to wide eyed children. What sparks their imagination further is that Gupta uses only everyday garbage as the building blocks of these experiments.
