Development work will not be stopped: Khanduri
A day after he was sworn in, Uttarakhand Chief Minister B C Khanduri today said the period of'shradh', considered inauspicious by Hindus for starting new ventures, would not be allowed to affect development works in the state.
"Whatever is appropriate, we will take decisions accordingly,"Khanduri said when asked whether the shradh period would stop him from taking important decisions.
Khanduri is virtually facing an uphill task as far as development works are concerned since the assembly elections are just five months away.
