Most of terror groups in Pak were targeting India: Chidambaram
Union Home Minister P Chidambaram said today that there was a steep decline in communal violence in recent years.
The home minister said that left-wing extremism was the most violent movement in the country.
Chidambaram said that there was no decline in violence in Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa and Maharashtra.
Speaking on the threat of terror, the minister admitted that two attacks in two months was"a blot"on the government's record. However, the home minister said that the challenge of terrorism was"formidable"and no country was immune from it.
Chidambaram said that Afghanistan-Pakistan was the epicentre of terrorism.
The home minister said that most terror groups in Pakistan were targeting India.
