Not in the running for PM, says BJP leader Advani
Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader LK Advani on Wednesday ruled out that he is in the race for the post of prime minister, saying that the Jana Sangh and BJP have given him much more than the PM's post.
"What the country has given me is bigger than the post of Prime Minister,"Advani said.
"From the RSS, to the Jan Sangh and to the BJP, I am happier to be a part of the party. I don't want to become the prime minister,"Advani replied when he was asked if he is the BJP's prime ministerial candidate for the Lok Sabha elections in 2014.
LK Advani reached Nagpur on Wednesday morning for a meeting with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat at the Sangh headquarters. Advani, who is starting his anti-corruption for more details....
