GDP growth slows to 7.7 pc in April-June qtr of 2011-12

Union finance minister Pranab Mukherjee late tonight rebutted the charges by Team Anna Hazare  that he had told them the Gandhian's health was not Government's concern, saying the remarks were"distorted."

Anna's fast enters tenth day; support grows


As Anna Hazare's fast entered tenth day today, thousands of his supporters organised mass prayers for the well being of the Gandhian leader.
