With the capture and expected death of the tyrant Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, as well as the fall of his hometown Sirte, the eight-month-old Libyan uprising has succeeded emphatically. The National Transitional Council (NTC)'s authority is important and unquestioned. Now the whole world stands to watch what NTC is going to do with this authority.
A country which had been run like an empire by Gaddafi for 42 long years, establishing a democratic set up there is not so easy. The foundation has been laid. There is no dearth of economic resources in the country considering its rich oil reserves.
